This year at VBS, we will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!

VBS is for 4 years old by 09/01/25 through 6th grade completed.

Registration is from April 27-June 1. No registrants will be accepted after June 1.

Schedule

What activities will children participate in?

Opening Celebration

This time kicks off each day with lively music, games, and fun to get excited for the day’s activities.

Bible Study

Children will engage in thoughtful Bible lessons that will teach them about what it means to magnify God!

Crafts

Children will enjoy creating hands-on crafts that will help reinforce the lessons learned throughout the day.

Recreation

This time gets the children moving with fun, active games that will help reinforce the lessons learned throughout the day.

Missions

Children will discover how missions impact God's people and learn more about what it looks like to serve the Lord in their community and beyond.

Meal/Snacks

This time allows for fellowship and connection, allowing everyone to enjoy each other’s company and recharge for the rest of the day's activities.

T-shirts

VBS T-Shirts are available for $15

Before VBS begins: T-Shirts may be purchased in the main church office.
During VBS week: T-Shirts may be purchased on our VBS Kickoff night (June 4th at 5:30pm).
Please do not feel obligated to purchase a T-Shirt.

Where should I drop off and pick up my child?

Preschoolers (Kindergarten and under) should be dropped off in the reception room. They will be picked up in their classrooms.

For children who just completed 1st-6th grade, they will be dropped off and picked up in the breezeway between the Sanctuary and the CAC (gym).

Will my child be fed?

Yes! Every child will be fed lunch each day as part of VBS. Please contact us if your child has any dietary or allergy restrictions.

What should I send with my child each day?

They will need their Bible and appropriate attire (consider shoes that will work well for recreation, too)!

What if I register my child and then they are unable to attend?

Since we have a limited number of spots, please contact us or let Mrs. Nikki know as soon as possible if your child will no longer be able to attend so that the spot can be given to a different child. Thank you!

What happens if I try to register for VBS and it's already full?

Each age group has a maximum registration number allowed due to space limitations and safety. Register as soon as possible to ensure your child gets a spot.

Since our numbers are limited, if you have registered your child(ren) and they are no longer able to attend, please contact Mrs. Nikki as soon as possible at 256-453-1731 so that another child may have their spot. Thank you!

How can I help make VBS a success?

Respecting the drop off (8:10-8:25) and pick up times (12:30), supporting the teachers/leadership, spreading the word and information about VBS, and following up with your child(ren) about what they learned each day is a great way to help make VBS a success!

You can also pray that each person who participates in VBS will experience the love of Christ and begin or deepen a personal relationship with Him. We're so thankful for your support each year and we see fruit of VBS throughout the entire year!

VBS 2024 Breaker Rock Beach

Both our children and volunteers enjoy their time at VBS. We had so much fun last year and look forward to all that VBS 2025 will bring!

VBS provides children with a foundational understanding of Christian teachings and values in a fun and interactive environment, fostering spiritual growth. It also allows them to build relationships with peers and mentors within a supportive church community. We do not let the value and importance of VBS pass us by!
