MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY - Our WINTER items collection will be from Sunday, 11/16 through Wednesday, 12/3. There will be collection boxes in the Church Office. Items needed: gently used and clean blankets, sleeping bags, casual men’s and women’s coats, knit caps, gloves, scarves, sweatshirts, sweatpants, heavy flannel, heavy sweaters, thermal tops, bottoms and tennis shoes.

On Thursday, 12/4, we will be sorting these items in the reception room beginning at 9:30 am. A signup sheet to help will be posted on the bulletin board in the library hallway just off the foyer. Loss of a Spouse {See Video} After the Loss of a Spouse - GriefShare

Loss of a Spouse is a 2-hour seminar for people grieving a spouse’s death. The cost is FREE.

The seminar features a video with practical, encouraging advice from counselors, pastors, and widowed men and women, followed by a small-group sharing time. You’ll learn what to expect in the days ahead, how to handle the loneliness, what to do with your spouse’s belongings, and how to find the strength to go on.

Everyone who attends receives a booklet with over 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild their life.
