About Us

Love god. Love People. Look like jesus.
'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:30-31

Who We Are

Our desire is to love God, love people, and look like Jesus. We aim to engage in real conversations and community to help people grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Love God

Loving God involves thought, sensitivity, intent, and action where possible and appropriate. God has never sought empty words or empty ritual, but has sought a loving relationship with you (John 3:16).

Love People

Loving people can be a bit more complicated, but it reflects our willingness to love God. This love takes care of the needs of others. It loves others like we have been loved with kindess, mercy, grace and reckless abandon.

Look Like Jesus

Looking like Jesus is a reflection of our journey with Him. It is the transformational process and looking like Jesus is choosing to love God, choosing to love others and, in the process, becoming like Jesus.

Our Roots

Golden Springs' History

The ground breaking for Golden Springs Baptist Church occurred on January 11, 1959. These photos show some of the founding members and the original sanctuary that has been slowly added on to and updated since the start of the church.
